Our practice is now pleased to announce that we will be performing the Orbera Intra-gastric Balloon in Cairns. This non-surgical procedure is performed by endoscopy whereby a fluid filled balloon is placed in the stomach for 6 to 12 months, causing reduced appetite and oral intake. Like all weight loss interventions, it is mandatory for our patients to be enrolled in a special program with our Multi-disciplinary team MDT to maximise their weight loss outcomes.
